Covid -19 RTPCR Tests: Reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction ( RT-PCR) is considered the gold standard for detection of Covid-19 infection. Labassure is approved by ICMR to conduct Covid – 19 RTPCR tests at its facility
Covid -19 Rapid Antigen Screening Test:Rapid Antigen Tests enable a faster screening for Covid – 19 infection. These tests have higher specificity enabling an accurate detection of positive cases. However negative results in Rapid Antigen testing needs to be confirmed with RT-PCR Tests
Covid – 19 Antibody Testing:This tests enables detection of antibodies in the blood stream to screen for prior infection
