Description:

Aneuploidy or abnormal chromosomal numbers could result in Down syndrom and Patau syndrome. These are the disorders caused by addition copy of chromosome number 21 (Down syndrome) and chromosome number 13 (Patau syndrome). The test could provide the direct and rapid detection of these two genetic disorders.

Specimen Requirements:

25-20 ml of Amniotic Fluid OR
15-20mg of CVS tissue in sterile tube with rinse media/normal saline
